Jackie's Freezing Tips

  • Allow food to come to room temperature before you put it into containers or freezer bags
  • Squeeze all air out of your freezer bag
  • Cool to refrigerator temperature and freeze
  • Thaw food the night before you plan to eat it
  • Keep food covered tightly with foil while baking
  • Label and date freezer food with a sharpie pen

  • Quick Breads
  • Casseroles
  • Cookie dough balls
  • Pasta
